I am interested in learning about the Newnan Seminary. Elizabeth (WHITTEN) COLBERT m. Thomas COLBERT 1848, in Coweta Co. and was a school teacher, teaching Thomas' older children.
Was the seminary still there in 1860-1870? Charles Phillip COLBERT, third and last child of the couple was an educated man b. 1853. Is there a list of students who attended the seminary through 1870? Also, did Elizabeth teach there after the death of Thomas in late 1850's? Thanks in advance for any help you can provide. Darlene Hall
