Am seeking info on families of PATE and DESHASIER/ZO. These folks were tied up with the Aaron WILLOUGHBY descendants over in nearby Bibb and Pike Counties. The parents of Aaron DESHASIER were John and Mahala (Willoughby) DESHAZER. They married in Houston Co. Jul 1833. Particularly interested in the marriage of one Letha PATE to an Aaron DESHASIER. They married in Cowetta Co. but evidently moved to Fayette Co., GA. A "Milly" DESHASIER shows up in Fayette co on the 1870 census. Her age shows that she may quite possibly be their daughter. A young DESHASIER girl (age 2) is also shown on the Pulaski census on land owned by a Robert and/or William DESHAZO. I am curious about the spelling change of the DESHAZO name. Have not found anyone who knows anything about these folks as yet!! So far I'm the LONE RESEARCHER here!! Please HELP! Becky E mail: eyphoto@telis.org
