WEST - FOWLER - GOLDWIRE

Ben West Sat Jan 11 23:32:55 2003
I am seeking the descendants of Amy (WEST) FOWLER, the daughter of Amos WEST (1834-1913) and Olivia COLLINS (1840-1885). Amy WEST was born in 1880 in Graves County, Kentucky and married S. Lucas FOWLER probably sometime around the turn of the twentieth century. For a while Lucas and Amy (WEST) FOWLER resided in Birmingham, Alabama and then removed to Coweta County, Georgia, where Amy's father Amos passed away and is interred. Does anyone possess any information about this family? I do know that Amy and Lucas had a daughter named Jennie FOWLER who married Asher GOLDWIRE, but this is the extent of my knowledge. Thank you in advance for any assistance.

SEWELL - BRASWELL - HOLMES

DIANNE VRANIC Sun Mar 9 00:13:17 2003
The daughters of Milton N. & Ivanona [often mis-spelled Avanonia and even on gravestone-Ivernoner] SEWELL were many..am particularly seeking info on Rossie Lena [m-spld. Roselina] m. Robert BRASWELL in 1893 and Mary Elizabeth [Lizzie] m. Walter W. HOLMES in 1894. According to their sister Dolly (SEWELL) ATTAWAY [my Grandmother] and others in the family who knew both men each had been a Texas Ranger before coming to Ga. [or, perhaps returning to Ga.]

Also, seeking info. on Homer SEWELL, one of the SEWELL sons who was married [do not know wife name] and left w/two children [Calley and Joseph], 2nd wife name Eileen. Homer was a stonecutter..did some of the headstones at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. For some reason Homer is often not listed on geneology charts as one of the 12 children Milton N. SEWELL family...think this may have begun w/ LDS records. All these folks were born in Coweta County.

Would greatly appreciate any and all info you can give! In advance, I thank you!!!!! Dianne K. Vranic
