Daniel P. POWELL, (or he may have used David Phillip), married Mary C. MORRIS in Coweta County Oct. 3,1865.
Please if you have any information on these two let me know. I have been trying to trace them for 10 years.
Microfilm 0422210-0422211 If someone could get me a copy of the microfilm I would love to have that too. I just cannot make it to GA. These two are my great grandparents. Love to have anything or any leads. Please, I am at my last ends. David or Daniel died in Texas. He was in the Civil War and that's all I know. I'd love to find out where he was buried and his wife too.

I am looking for the burial place of my great grandmother, Nancy HINDSMAN. She was born in 1863 and died after 1888 in Coweta County at a young age in Coweta County. She was married to James Hiram JONES. If anyone has an idea where she might be buried or what she died of can you please contact me.

Frances HOPGOOD / HOBGOOD married John Jefferson JONES. Certificate found in Carroll County, GA. Frances was born in 1819, and John in 1811, census records all say Ga. They raised a family in Cherokee County,Ga. I cannot find a connection for Frances or John to their parents. I know this family had connections in several counties in Ga.Their daughter, Deborah JONES, married Henry O SMITH, born Ga.

The 1827 Land Lottery for Coweta County shows a "Winfield WRIGHT" from Warren County. I am researching my WRIGHT family and have identified back to "Winfield WRIGHT b 1831". but no further. Just wondering if there might be a connection between this "Wingfield WRIGHT" and my "Winfield WRIGHT" Maybe father/son???

Howdy Folks:
My great grandmother, Elizabeth Caroline MOON was born in Coweta, GA. I believe the year was 1820. I am looking for the names of her parents, brothers and sisters. She married my great grandfather, George W. MOORE and they lived mostly in Heard County, GA.

Please help me obtain some information from census records or some relatives who are still living in Coweta County. Thank you for any help you give me.

I am seeking information re William King McGEE, 8/21/83 - 7/16/31, my maternal grandfather who is buried in the Coke's Chapel Cemetery in Sharpsburg, GA. He had several siblings: Joe Wheeler McGEE, Samuel Otis McGEE, Allene McGEE, Fletcher McGEE, Lizzie McGEE, Norman McGEE, and Fannie McGEE. I especially seek names of his parents.

Also, my paternal grandparents are Peter Gilliam MORROW and Viola (MOORE) MORROW, who lived at 32 St. Clair St, Newnan. I have almost my entire MORROW family tree for those who seek information.
