I am looking for any information on Millard Thomas TROUTON. His father is listed on his death certificate as Clint GASTON. Millard TROUTON was murdered by his father-in-law, James W. MINTER on August 10, 1923, in Newnan, GA. Millard's mother was Bessie TROUTON, her mother was Ann TROUTON. I have been able to find Ann and Bessie on a 1910 Census in Heard County, Corinth, GA, but nowhere else. Any info that anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated. Millard T TROUTON was my grandfather on my father's side.
THANKS!

I am trying to find a linkage to the THORNTON and/or DERMS family [Afro-Americans] who lived around Senoia, GA in Coweta County in the late 1800s and early 1900s. The earliest name I have is Felix THORNTON who according to a death certificate for his son Ralph THORNTON, was married to a Martha DERMS. The couple of Felix and Martha had a number of children with the last name THORNTON but the only four names I have connected with this family are: Felix THORNTON and Martha DERMS who gave birth to Ralph THORNTON and Clarkie THORNTON among other siblings.
If anyone can provide any information on this family it would be very much appreciated. Though I live in Boston, I will gladly travel to Georgia for any solid information on the THORNTON family. Felix and Martha are my great grandparents.
Thanks in advance. Phillip Davis

My Grandfather, Monroe Franklin MANLEY, was born and probably raised in Coweta County, Newnan area. He married Mary Eunice FERRELL and moved to Oklahoma territory where Mary Eunice died on June 15, 1905 from meningitis, allegedly but suspect. Monroe next appears to me as the father of my father, Irvin Warren MANLEY, born In Pitts, Poinsett County, AR. on December 14, 1908. Does any one have information on him or his new wife, Nettie Mae WILHELM? This occured around Mannsville, OK 1900-1908. Thank you. Dick Manley
