Information taken from Walker County, Georgia Cemeteries, Vol. II, published by the Walker County Historical Society and listed here with their permission.
Click on the following link for more information and links to maps for Walker
County Cemeteries. The server will return a list of Cemeteries in Walker
County. Only the cemeteries which have at least partial transcriptions have
a button which says "View Transcription". If they have a button that
says "Volunteer to Transcribe Me" we do not currently have any transcription
information but would love to have someone Trancribe this cemetery. Note that
some cemeteries are listed more than once (e.g. Armuchee(East) is also listed
as East Armuchee) to make it easier to find them. We plan to have driving instructions
to all the cemeteries soon. Instructions to reach the cemeteries will be from
the Cherokee Regional Library in downtown LaFayette because many folks visiting
the county will also visit the library.
