My great-grandfather, Otto SCHULTZ, b. 1852 in Meckelnburg, was a flat-boater on the Red River, making trips between Breckenridge and Ft. Garry, Manitoba, for several years prior to 1873. He was employed by a company he called "S & A" in his notes. If anyone has information about this company, or its employees, I would appreciate your sharing it.

Trying to find out where my Father's, sister's daughter who died from poliomylitis is buried. It's possible maybe in Foxhome or maybe somewhere in Otter Tail Co. or Wilkin County? It's not listed in the Wilkin County Obits. index. Garnet HAMILTON was born 6/25/1925 and died 8/29/1933.

I am looking for information about my great uncle Adolf SWENSON. He was born in Sweden in 1857 and immigrated to Minnesota about 1881. I believe he married Benedicta DANIELSON.
He lived in Akron Twp between 1910 and 1930 per census for those years. I would appreciate any help with marriage and death dates for Adolf and Benedicta.

I am looking for information on Anton and Anna HANSON and their sons, John and Olaf HANSON who lived in Wilkin County from the late 1880's to about 1907. Anton and Anna were both born in Norway and came to the U.S. in the 1860's and settled in Wisconsin. They then moved to Wilkin County in the 1880's and moved to North Dakota approximately 1907.

I am looking for info re: a Mrs. James GLEASON (sp.?) who lived in Wahpeton, MN, in the early 1900's and whose mother, Mrs. Sarah (SPAULDING) CLARK, died at her home. Trying to locate graves of Stephen A. COLBURN (d. 3 July 1916) and wife Mary A. COLBURN (d. 9 June 1915) both Wilkin Co. Had lived in Iowa and were there in 1910 census. Perhaps moved to MN to live with a child, perhaps surname NOBLE. Both elderly, born in New York State. Stephen is Civil War soldier enlisted in Michigan.

Looking for information on the parents and siblings of Edward Bernard HAYES. Father Richard HAYES born about 1816 Cork county Ireland, Mother Catherine (possible O'CONNER) born about 1823 in Waterford county Ireland. Their children Anne M born abt 1861 KY, Edward Bernard born abt 1862 KY, John born abt 1864 KY, Bridget Eliza born abt 1864 ky.
Parents immigrated 1851. Lived in Le Sueur Co. MN 1870 & 1880.
1900 lived Wadina Co. MN and Edward was on 1920 Breckenridge Census with wife Frances LITTEL with children Richard, Vincent, Donna and James Joseph.
Thinking maybe parents may have ended up there.
Interested in anything I can find on this family.

I am looking for as much information on Octavia ASKEGAARD as you might have. She came to Tenney, Minnesota as an 18-year-old teacher in 1928 and taught there prior to moving to Fergus Falls to teach in approximately 1930. She eventually married Kenneth McGREGOR (in 1948). They eventually lived in Nashua, Iowa. If you know anything about Octavia I am interested in talking with you. I have an antique quilt that has her name on it, as well as many other names. Thank you.

I am looking for place and date of death for John C. KAIN, b. 1853 in Clinton Co., IA. He and his family appear in the 1900 and 1910 US Census in Breckinridge. His wife was Elizabeth LAUGHLIN and their four children were John Patrick, Mary M., Joseph T. and Richard James KAIN.

I am looking for information on Isabelle DALGARNO, daughter of Nathaniel and Joanna/Hannah DALGARNO, sister of Norman DALGARNO, George DALGARNO, and Nellie (DALGARNO) DOPP. Isabelle born 7/28/1901, died in 1934. She lived in Traverse County, and in 1930 was working in a factory in Minneapolis. She apparently never married, and died at the young age of 33. Any information at all about her would be deeply appreciated.

Engebret C. KROGH immigrated with family from Norway 1879 to Manston township. He is burried at Savior Cemetery in Rothsay. Would be interested in any information such as land records, naturalization record and copy of death notice in the "Wilkin County Gazette" in Breckenridge dated Oct. 4, 1895.

Looking for info on Horace REYNOLDS & Ruby Jane (HUNTER) REYNOLDS and their family. Were on the 1880 Census in Breckenridge, Wilkin. Horace's name incorrectly spelled as Horate. Believe some children may have married or died in the area. Missing Children are Mary, George, Ella.
