Looking for information about Andrew Berg and sister Martha. He was an early settler in Sheyenne Township. Martha came from Norway with two children and kept house for Andrew. I am looking for information of this family and decendents of Martha's children. Andrew's nephew, Johannes Solhjem and wife Ronnag Bakke came to Sheyenne township, also. Andrew is from Solhjemsbergom farm near Otta/Sel, Norway which was bombed and burned in 1941. I have heard that there is another person researching this family and I think this person must be from this line of the family.

Researching Leo KUTZER, his wife Susan, and Harold THOMAS, step-son of Leo KUTZER and son of Susan by her first husband, Oral THOMAS. The KUTZER family was last known living in Richland County. Oral THOMAS, first husband of Susan (maiden name unknown), was born in Indiana, 7 Mar 1893. He married Susan in North Dakota. Susan was born in North Dakota about 1897. Oral and Susan had two children: a boy, name thought to be Harold F. THOMAS, born about 1916, and a younger daughter, name unknown, born after 1919, who was married and living in Boston, Mass., in 1955. The daughter had, at that time, two girls and a boy. Oral THOMAS and Susan divorced, and Oral departed North Dakota and died in Washington State, 20 Nov 1954. Susan married Leo KUTZER sometime after her divorce from Oral, and I have a letter written by Susan, dated January 1955, showing that she and husband Leo were then living in or near Fairview, Richland County, North Dakota. I have been given information, still needing confirmation, that Leo KUTZER was born 14 Jan 1897, died Mar 1987, Richland County, North Dakota, age 90. I am a grandnephew of Oral THOMAS and cousin of Harold and his sister. Any information or leads concerning past and present members of the KUTZER and THOMAS folk would be greatly appreciated.
