Can someone tell me how I can find a reprint of an obit from the Oneida Dispatch for March 13, 1874 for Mrs. Mary (James) PINNEY, age 88. The time I visited there the papers were not available to copy and the Hist. Society said this might be all that was in the original obit but I would like to pursue it further.
Thanks for any help. Joyce Batchelor

His children were Pete and Patsy PENOYER, may still be in the area, may have some more information. Check out Madison Co. Historian who may have more information. Shelley

I am still looking for any information on Benjamin LAWRENCE born circa 1781 in Lenox, MA? and his wife Lois ELLIOT. Benjamin lived in Madison County. There is a Benjamin LAWRENCE on the 1820 census. I know that Abram (Abraham) born 1819 in Madison County is his son. My grandfather Ambrose LAWRENCE was b. 1823 and his death certificate says he was born in Lenox on April 8, 1823. I believe Erastus is also a son? Erastus and his wife are buried in Lenox Rural Cemetery. Benjamin and Lois moved to Warren County in 1844 and are buried in Rice Cemetery, Saratoga County, NY.
Any information appreciated and I would be glad to share.
Thanks, mabayer@usadatanet.net
