Does anyone know if the WRIGHTs in Richland County could be her relations?

Would like to determine if a Phillip KIZER (wife Rhoda) had an estate settled there after 1854. (He died about 1847 enroute from Ohio to Indiana but his wife was in your county by 1854.
Need to determine where he died. I realize this is a stab in the dark.

BRAITHWAITE / BRATHWAITE - BROTHERTON

sue Tue Apr 10 16:09:44 2007
My gg grandma, Eliza BROTHERTON was living in WI, Richland Co with her dau, Ida Mae (BROTHERTON) BRAITHWAITE and Ida had married a George BRAITHWAITE.

Anyway, in 1910 Eliza was on the census in Ida & George's home - yet by the 1920 census, Ida and George were still there in Richland County but no sign of Eliza! I have called funeral homes & asked everywhere I could think of to no avail. Is there anyone that is tied to these families that may have heard passed down through the years, where this BROTHERTON woman may be buried Would appreciate it so much as we just want to find her & be able to visit her grave. Thanks!

MILLER

Donna Pfitzner Wed Oct 10 05:52:18 2007
Henry MILLER my 3rd great grandfather born in VA about 1792. He married Sarah BOWERS in Fayette County OH in 1812. He, Sarah, sons Henry, Absolam, & Sam were present on the 1850 Richland census. Also present were married daughters Sarah (MILLER) SCOTT and Mary Ann (MILLER) PIPPENGER & their families. This family was in Tippecanoe County IN before coming to WI. I suspect they were part of the large group of related MILLERs, led by William MILLER, who came to WI in the 1840s. I'm trying to determine who Henry's parents and siblings were. I'd like contact with anyone who had MILLER ancestors in Richland County WI and/or Tippecanoe County IN,in the 1840s-1850s. Thanks Donna

HYDE

Jerry Misurek Tue Oct 16 11:55:08 2007
I am a member of the United States Military Academy class of 1967. The USMA Association of Graduates publishes obituaries of deceased graduates. At a recent reunion I was tasked with writing an obituary for Gary Lee HYDE a member of our class who died on May 29, 1976, in Madison, WI. Additionally, in locating surviving family members we attempt to include them in various ongoing class activities.

We have no even remotely current information on Gary’s surviving family members or his friends prior to his entering West Point in 1963. Gary was from Viola, WI and his last family address was RR1, Viola WI 54664 in 1967. On graduation in 1967, Gary served a tour of duty in Alaska, attended Aviation School in 1969; he then served a year in Vietnam, returning to a tour with the 196th Aviation Company in 1971. Gary resigned his commission in September 1974. We have no information on his death in 1976.

I have been unsuccessful in gathering any background information or local contacts using numerous websites. Thus, I am contacting local papers, high schools and other potential sources in the hope that I might gain some background information and hopefully some local contacts that might be sources of information. Anything you might provide in this regard would be greatly appreciated.

HOFFMAN - BOOHER

Jeffrey R Pick Sun Dec 30 06:08:20 2007
I'm Looking for My Grandma Jessie (BOOHER) GRAHN's Aunts and Uncles. Her parents were James BOOHER and Edith (HOFFMAN) BOOHER. She grew up in and around Viola and West Lima. Edith's parents were Adam HOFFMAN and Eliza (CAMPBELL) HOFFMAN. Edith's brothers and siters are whom I'm trying to find. I know a couple of them. Jessie (HOFFMAN) SCHRODER and Emma (HOFFMAN) FRUIT, but I guess there were a few others. I've got a few bits of info searching the Richland County cemeteries but am really lost after that. I live in Berlin Wi and am unable to travel far. I'm not really looking to create a book, I just would like to know.
Thanks and God Bless
Sincerely
Jeffrey R Pick
