SPEARS, WILLIAMSON, DAVIDSON, TOMANS Interested in any information and possibly descendants of the above names???
James S. SPEARS and Hannah are listed in the 1880 census of Rockbridge, Richland Co, Wisconsin Hannah as "wife", 48 years old born in Ohio, her death certificate has Secil SPEARS listed as father. James is listed as 61 years old, born in New York Their daughter, Luella M. SPEARS, married John J. WILLIAMSON other daughter Mary Lucinda SPEARS married Charles Franklin DAVIDSON. Hannah's son Homer TOMAN married Jennie L.DAVIDSON (Charles sister) Homer's father was listed as Mathias TOMAN all children were married in Richland County. Mary died in 1899, buried in Rockbridge Cemetery, what happened to the other children, and their spouses? I was told by my grandmother (Pearl Mae BELL) that after John died Luella remarried to a DAVIDSON, and that they grew up next dorr to each other. That would mean she married Charles??? I haven't been able to locate a marriage record for this. Was Hannah's maiden name SPEARS? John J. WIALLIAMSONS mother was possibly a Mary SPEARS, who was married to J.N. WILLIAMSON.
I'm at a stumbling block, any information would be very much appreciated!! Thank you very much
